I've been so inspired and touched by the chapter Wattpad's team posted a few days ago, introducing plastic in the water. That's a huge challenge that i want to pass today by writing a story in english and in only 500 words. By this little paragraph, there's already 268 caracters. So here's the story. Hope you, dear lectors, will enjoy the idea of following the wonderful and terrible trip of a little cotton swab.Please note that this contest is organisated in part by national geographic -or that's what i've understood- and I appreciate their initiative so much. This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.
