These people were gifted with the power to use a special ability known as Mageía Aímatos; this gives these people regenerative abilities and the power to manipulate their own blood, having it seep through their skin to form weapons or armor. Over the years these people were hunted out of fear; they were called "Vampires" and "Devils".
