She came to this place to start over...to start a new life and leave her past behind her. She finds herself in a small town where she thinks she's finally found the place where she could start her new life again, she's greeted by the youngest of the Kyojuro clan, Toji whom she soon learns is the youngest and is brother to no other than the eldest Rengoku Kyojuro. Next in line to take the throne Rengoku struggles with his past quarrels an love affairs of the past, thinking he would never be able to forget about the past he meets Mizaka whom he quickly learns she's more than just a stranger passing thru. Rengoku finds himself at cross roads from letting go of the past and bringing prosperity to the clan. With the past still lingering in their lives will they be able to set aside for good everything they walked away from or will the quarrels of the future keep them from realizing that they mean more to each other than just what they lead on to believe.
