Flora, 16 Jahre, hat schon viele Schicksalsschläge hinter sich. Und trotzdem kämpft sie weiter. Die Frage ob sie ans Übernatürliche glaubt, ist für sie leicht zu beantworten. Bloß warum das so ist, weiß keiner. Keiner versteht sie in ihrer Denkweise und in der Schule wird sie deswegen sogar ausgeschlossen und als verrückt abgestempelt. Dazu kommt das sie ihre leiblichen Eltern nicht kennt. Der plötzliche Umzug nach Forks , ist für sie mehr als erfreulich.
Wird sie mehr über ihre leiblichen Elten erfahren? Was wird in Forks alles passieren? Holen sie wage Erinnerungen wieder ein? Oder ihre große Liebe finden? oder antworten auf ihre Fragen?

Alex is what you call a street rat who steals to survive in this harsh world. She didn't believe in the government and hated her parents for abandoning her to die in the streets. She would have done just that if it won't for her abilities she had. She could manipulate shadows and bend them to her will. She could also teleport within the shadows but not long distances as she would have hoped. He could also hide herself in the shadows which helped her a lot in surviving.
