Memories lost and memories found: Lan Wangji and Wei Wu Xian

Lan Wangji can't forget Wei Wu Xian and convinces himself that Wei Ying can't be dead, he just hasn't looked hard enough. However, he isn't in any of the clan's territory and therefore, Wangji sees that he must be in the spirit world. Reality gradually takes a toll on his mentality and he vows to find Wei Ying, even if he dies trying.

Lan Xi Chen asks their uncle to do something dangerous, seal off all Lan Wangji's memories and emotions, in order to give him another chance at life, by memories lost can just as easily be gained when the one they are about is reincarnated.
