18 year old Anne Williford has always been a shy girl, always will be too. However, her mate is out there. And she should be looking for him. When she arrives back her village shes pulled aside and told to be quiet. When she Came back to her village It had been slaughtered. Family, Dead. Friends, bloody. Pets, Burned. Children, Gone. My foot hits a bloody hand and I scream. Jumping into the air on my ass. Someone grabs me from behind and covers my mouth whispering, "Shh. " I bite his hand. "OWW!" I clamp my hand over his mouth. "It'll be okay I promise." He hugs me. I start punching his chest in anger of what had happened. He just lets it happen. I take a deep breath in and smell Apples and Grapes. The smell wafts over me like a thunderous cloud. He takes a deep breath as well. He looks at me with dark brown eyes and hugs me. I cry, and sob. Until one point where I can smell a rogue nearby. "We have to go." He says to me with murderous eyes. "w-why?" I ask. "Rogues." One word that controls someone is just as dangerous as someone who is controlled. "Where will we go?" I ask nervously.
