Finding My Mate

I could feel myself jolt awake, As the cold air in the room instantly took over the warmth of my body. Opening my eyes I'm met by darkness the sun isn't up yet, and rubbing my eyes I reach over to my bedside table to grab my phone and check the time, I grunt as the bright screen turns on blinding me. After my eyes finally adjusted, I checked the time it was 20 minutes past 5.

I start to stretch while sitting up then finally standing up. I walk over to my closet to double-check my bags for the trip to make sure I have everything I need like my clothes, travel essentials, and cords. Before grabbing a tan t-shirt and sliding it on over my head, I grab my bag and walk out of my closet. I set the bag down on my bed before heading over to my dresser grabbing a pair of pants and putting them on.

Today some younger members of the pack and I were going on a small camping trip. This trip is a little odd considering we basically live in the woods, but Father insisted that we go camping to learn how to live around humans; As they come and go a lot faster than werewolves; Werewolves have a longer life span than humans, and we typically can live thought about 3 human generations before even coming close to dying of old age.
