What Are You?
I am 16 years old and finally will have a life out the home I have know for so long. I will be going to a school. The leaders of our city will be picking which school I fit in. Except these school aren't what they seem to the naked eye. They involve monsters no one ever thought real. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Shape-shifters. How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. I will be finding out about these creatures because...I am one. New friendships brew while enemies start to boil. Some friends become more than friends. Then some turn on her. She's different. The prophecy says she will start a war. Will she really. How? What will happen? Will people die that she cares about? How can she save them? I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS STORY!! They had complicated romantic relationships with each other and with humans, and also led human populations to fight war with each other using weapons of mass destruction over their petty disagreements. Human beings are still part of that legacy. A group of enlightened people who have reincarnated many times from those days to learn that this is not the way forward. Pooling their resources together, they have decided to try and put an end to this vicious cycle once and for all. But how much do they know? How much control do they have over their destiny? The Prophecy
Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
