Yardley Allen Gates III, otherwise known as Tripp, dreams of leaving the small one horse town of Burnet, Texas behind. His one way ticket depends on his football career and getting into the top 8% of his class. With Senior year starting up, he cancels plans with friends for extra practices and study sessions with the school's valedictorian. Tripp ends up sacrificing friendships for his life long dream, but one hypocritical decision leads to an unexpected crinkle in his plans for his future.
