TMNT Donnie x reader(discontinued)

You and Donnie meet on an app called Meow Chat(cuz why not), you two started talking on the phone about two times a week, then every other day, then...well I'm sure u would have guessed it ... every day. He liked basically everything you did...well except that you didn't invent things, you just really liked electronics and playing video games, nor was you a scientist but you knew a thing or two about herbs.

You two started off as friends then good friends then bff...then you started having feelings for him...maybe. You knew it wouldn't work, you're a mutant. You could never let a human see you for who you are plus he did talk about a girl named April here and there. But you didn't know he was one too, both of you avoided the question about asking and never even bothered to bring it in fear the other one was a human and finding out they were a mutant. You felt that it was best if you just stay friends was the best idea, but something was in the way. Feelings. One night you two was texting on the phone in a deep discussion but something was a bit off, you couldn't tell what it was though.
