The Colors of Silver

For Emma, finally getting out of eighth grade is like a blessing in disguise. All she wants to do is get away from all the troubles the year brought her, like her best friend finally hooking up with the only boy Emma ever really liked, and the fights between the two girls that seem to be plunging their friendship into despair, in spite of the fact that they have recently reconciled...for now. So when she takes her problems with her to her favorite vacaction spot/second home, Star Island, Emma realizes that there are a lot of troubles still to come, and she realizes some harsh truths about the people she think she knows and befriends one person that she though she never would lay eyes on. But the end doesnt come there, instead Emma most come back to school at the start of freshman year and fight her own painful battles in order to stay the person she is, and become the person she wants to be. This is a story about how two totally differnt places with mutlitudes of seemingly different people can be brought together in heart and soul by one person, and how some things were just never meant to be...
