most hybrids are just sold off to the rich, kidnapped, raped, etc and left on the streets, hybrids have it hard they are not able to walk around without hiding there tails and ears and wearing contacts if they have unnatural eye colors. Some hybrids just kill themselves since it is less painful. Their are different kinds of hybrids.

Pure blood: two of the same kind of hybrids.

Half blood: two different types of hybrid.

the most rarest type is when it is two humans and they have a hybrid this kind is called purer's these hybrids have it even harder they have a hormone that only purer's have, only hybrids can tell if you are a purer and this makes it hard for them to go peacefully without getting harassed by other hybrids and human.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
