Sparks flow through me when he pressed his lips to mine, and I sink in wanting more. For once, I trust every word from someone's mouth. How is she to fight the beasts and save her people when she's herself one! ~ "You're my mate, and you know I can't let you go, Belle," Jacob's voice, his breaths were soon fanning down the back of her neck, signaling that he had stepped much closer to her again. "We can't let you go. You're our precious princess..., we can't live without you. I love you, Belle, we all love you!" Jacob's breath tickling across the back of her neck made her shudder in pleasure. This uncontrollable sense of pleasure, warmth, and... love, all made her want to stay back, forget yet again what she had just remembered, and go back to the days she didn't have her memories - her past. "I want to stay," was her slow murmur. Jacob breathed in relief, almost. Because her next words then crashed him down, completely. "But... I can't, because you don't lie to who you call your precious, Jacob. You don't lie to who you love." Her voice was back to cold again and so was her resolve. Holding her arm frantically, Jacob whirled her around to face him. "I can give you anything," he looked desperate and on the brink of insanity. "I will give you anything, do everything that you tell me to, just name it." Kristin didn't jerk away from his hold this time, she looked at him searching, calculating. All in a freezing way. "Then I ask you to let me go." He knew this was the final nail of this coffin, the coffin that would hold his love. Infinite howls echoed around in the woods, as the pack grieved, for their only girl - who'd, at last, remembered her past and rejected the life they gave her. She would leave them, and they knew their world would never be the same again. But they had yet to discover that from the ashes now something momentous shall rise. ''

Moira ~ A person's destiny ************************************ I was holding the photo tightly in my grasp when I felt a presence behind me. Ace came closer to me and reached around me causing his chest to press into my back. Before I could control myself, a breathless gasp escaped me from feeling the sparks from the places we were touching. Ace didn't say anything, instead, he took the photo from my hand and backed away. I turned around to see Ace walking back to the couch he was just sitting on. I leaned back against the bookshelf as Ace sat down. Looking at Ace, I needed to know. I needed to know why he had a photo of me from before. Why would he have one when he was the one who rejected me? He hated me and yet he kept a photo of me for years. I felt a feeling of loss like I had never felt before. I was confused and hurt. Why did he have that photo? I had so many questions for him. I whispered, not wanting to break the silence but needing an answer, "Why?" One word, three letters, a beginning of a question. Not enough meaning behind it but he knew what I meant. Even if I didn't know what I wanted it to mean. Because in my head, a thousand questions I needed him to answer. Why did he reject me? Why take a picture of me? Why keep that picture of me for years? Why did he choose Brittney? Why didn't he love me? Why was I not good enough? But instead of asking all these questions, I chose to ask one word with only three letters. Because that one word held all my questions in it. It held the pain that I felt. It held the rejection, the hope, and the anger. Ace looked at the picture, "I needed you." ************************************

But the moon goddess truly wasn't fond of him because in addition to being an outcast, he wasn't blessed with a wolf. Welcome to Undiscovered Gems Competition (UGC)! I love to help writers get a second hand view of their work. I feel that there is so much published work on Wattpad that deserves to be acknowledged but people a) Don't have the time b) Don't read new books with low reads or c) Can't find them. I've read so many undiscovered books here and I usually comment on how to improve and what is done well. I know that new stories may not be continued or people may not have confidence in themselves and sometimes I feel my comments go unnoticed. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer.
