I could hear panting somewhere near me in the dark of the room. Trying to keep my breathing even as possible, I slowly started to count to ten. "one...two...three..." My voice trailed off as a clicking sound and a body shifting cut me off.
A hand merged out of the darkness from behind me, it's long arms either side of my head. One wrapped around my torso, crushing me. The other wrapped its long fingers over my mouth, tilting my head back to face the nightmare..
I screamed as i jolted up from my plush bed. Panting, I reached turning on my bedside lamp. My pale rose gold eyes spilled tears, staining my cheeks. "Not again.." My voice quivered as I whispered to myself. Looking around before they landed on a shadowy figure of a man. His crooked grin spread on his face. In a second he was ontop of me, leaning close. Fear ripped at my guts.
He leaned passed to whisper in my ear, "You can't escape this nightmare, darling. You're gonna be mine and I don't let what's mine go.." He leaned back before my eyes flickered over to the glint to the left of me. The moon drapped over the long knife he help in his hand. Watching him lift before it started to go toward my face. My eyes grew wide before i close them.
I once again bolted up, shaking with terror. "Nightmares in nightmares.." The sun lightly flowing into the room now.
I felt a tingle against me cheek, reaching my fingers slowly to the spot. Looking at my finger as a red liquid glinted on my finger tips. "Wasn't it just a nightmare?" I asked myself and my body trembled.
