Have you ever wondered what it was like to be an Assist Trophy?

Do you wonder if all they do is sit on the sidelines and ponder about their goals in life; Defeating the galaxy's most dangerous Bounty Hunter, laying rampaging robots to rest, or... Being in the main roster?

Ever since Shadow and Waluigi were drafted for Assist Trophies, they've had a common goal: Get into Smash Brothers. Of course, this hasn't worked out at all, considering that they've been denied every time.

But fortunately for them, things seem to have changed. Assist Trophies get promoted to be fighters in the tournament. Heck, even "too big" wasn't too big after all.

Of course, the lanky italian and the black hedgehog start to notice this sudden trend, and will do anything to be a part of it. Will Shadow and Waluigi prevail, or have to wait another five years to have another shot at the main roster?
