Natalie instructed her to simply walk to the front of the line and give the doorman her name. Everything started out all wrong when everyone already waiting in the line called her everything but a child of God. To make matters worse, the guy standing at the door made her feel like a fool. Tears streamed down her face as she turned to walk away.

For once in her life, Solace decided to have fun with her friends. Everyone always told her to get over her shyness by stepping out of her comfort zone. When she tried to do just that, she was shot down and embarrassed so bad all she wanted to do was crawl under a rock and hide for the rest of her life.

"Hey, dude. That really wasn't called for. You don't have the right to put a lady down like that. What the hell is wrong with you, anyway?" A smooth husky voice spoke up as she hurried to retreat from the situation.

As much as she wanted to disappear, something forced her to turn around to see who decided to take up for her. Solace nearly tripped on her own lip when she saw a dark-haired mountain putting the doorman in his place. Many of the women in the line were fighting for his attention but he did the one thing that nearly gave her a heart attack.

"Ma'am, I'd be truly honored if you would be my guest."

Surely she must be in the middle of a crazy dream? There was no way a gorgeous man tall as a mountain was asking her to join him in the hottest club in town. Since there was no way any of it could be real, Solace decided to enjoy spending time with the sexy subject she ever welcomed into her dreams before she woke up to the nightmare that was her everyday life.
