If somebody asked Conner Jacobs if he'd ever associate himself with 'Gay-Ray', the school's local gay boy, he'd probably take it as an insult and pulverize them for even thinking about it. After all, he was a real man. Real men, in his world, did not go around kissing and holding hands with other men. It was just unacceptable! Life is rather black and white for Conner, while Ray's was full of bright and cheery colors, causing tensions to rise. After they are chosen to represent their school in the National Youth Singing Competition as duet PARTNERS, they will be forced to make rather hard choices.
