I was waiting for my parents to pick me up from the school. I was thirteen at the time and nobody ever expected anything bad to happen in our sweet old town. I never got taught the importance of stranger danger. An older man, in his twenties approached me. I looked up at him and he was smiling.

"What is a stray like you doing out here by yourself?" He asked me and I tilted my head confused by the term.

"I am waiting for my parents. I just got out of school." I responded innocently as ever.
