Long, long ago, there lived a beautiful young queen of a fair, sweet, and gentle disposition. Throughout her kingdom, she was adored for her kind heart and graceful beauty. Commonfolk came from all throughout Aspenfall Valley, asking her what her secret was to her compassion. To each she would always reply, "You are my reason for my compassion. There would be no kingdom if it wasn't for you." Most left satisfied with her response, but there was one woman who remained unconvinced.

Elegant and cunning, this lady had lived in the shadows for the entirety of her life. For this she blamed the fair maiden and therefore longed to be rid of the gentle queen so that she herself might attain such things that the fair maiden had. Things were about to change for the people of Aspenfall.
