"RUN!" He shouted. the sound of branches breaking and snarling erupted from behind me.
I took off I didn't know what direction I was going I just knew I was going. I could hear loud thudding behind me. what was I running from. I was terrified I had no idea what was coming after us just that I needed to keep going. I had been running for what felt like twenty minutes.
My heart was pounding out of my chest, it was becoming harder to keep moving. I started to slow no longer hearing the loud thudding and decided to rest. I could see a moon lit clearing in the trees ahead and started to slow. I came to a stop and hid behind a fallen tree next to a small pond in the clearing. I closed my eyes and started to steady my breathing and realize I had lost kyle, we must have run different ways I was so scarred I just ran I didn't look to see where he had gone how could I been so stupid. I had no idea where I was at all. I was new to this town. Nows not the time to panic. I'm jerked out of my thoughts by an ear splitting howl. My eyes snap open. My breath is trapped in my throat. Across the pond I see two sets of glowing eyes, one silver and one gold. But what worry's me most is that there nine feet off the ground.

Her lips are as red as blood. She has tears running down her face and a bruise just below her left eye. She's holding my necklace. The moonlight shines on the single engraved word "Noel". "Take this." She says, "Noel! Take this and run. Put it around your neck and never, NEVER take it off. It will keep you safe." The woman hears something and turns around to look, then looks back at me with panic and sorrow in her eyes. I hear a male voice behind her mumbling something, I can't make out what he's saying. I can't make out the man's face as he walks up behind the woman and squeezes her shoulders. He takes the necklace wincing and slips it over my head. They're talking to me but I can't hear what they're saying. I only see the panic in their face. "Noel! RUN." I hear screams and growls as I'm running as fast as I can. I make it out of the woods and onto a street. I hear the woman's blood curdling scream before I'm blinded by a light and everything fades to darkness.Complete
