This story follows 16 year old Izuki Carmella, who is a princess of Carmella Kingdom. Since the passing of her mother, she has been charged with helping care for her 2 younger sisters. However, her father has something bigger in mind for her future. In his new will, he has dictated that his oldest daughter Izuki is to become Queen when he is no longer here. The King is determined to set up an arranged marriage for her while he is still alive so that he can rest assured she is cared for and protected when he is gone. However, Izuki is highly against arranged marriages.... much less to the arrogant, womanizing prince from the neighboring Elven Kingdom that her father has introduced her to. Izuki must now figure out how to handle this desperate situation, and protect herself and her family from this mysterious prince with unknown intentions...
