What if there was a secret city built for the sky... and you were specifically chosen to go there?

Lena Cassidy has found herself as one of only a few specially selected people to travel to the city of Caelum as an experiment, in an attempt to help its creators prove to the world that a city above land is inhabitable. Reluctantly choosing to leave her mother and disabled brother behind on the continent, she agrees to go, but with one goal in mind: to find out whether or not this city really exists. 

Almost immediately, Lena finds herself hurled into an entirely different society. She tries to keep an open mind about her situation, willing to comply with the rules set by the city's creators, but she soon comes to learn that the Caelum Project is not what it appears to be, at all.
