"There's a legend; the last leaf of autumn falls from this tree," he directed towards it with his eyes as his hands were warm inside his coat pockets.

"Why's that?" You ask, eyes trailing the vibrant hues that coated the old oak tree.

He shrugged beside you, "Just a legend known well amongst people. Mainly couples though. Whoever visits the tree gets into a relationship, after their first kiss is when the last leaf falls."

" Well, lucky for you. You're already in a relationship," you chuckle dryly, averting your eyes to the ground.

You could feel his burning gaze against the side of your face, and it made you squirm.

"W-We should be heading back," you state as you speed off.

Christian gazes at your figure walking off as he speaks to himself, "I don't want to be in this relationship. I want to have something with you, Alia. I want to kiss you before the last fall."
