Seventeen years ago a powerful yōkai called a Bakaneko found a well, and escaped near death by passing through that well. The Bakaneko woman named Kurona fell in love with a mortal named Haruto on the other side of the well.
Fifteen years ago a baby girl, daughter of a yōkai and a mortal was born. Her name was (Y/n). A child of two species, and of two times.
Fourteen years ago Kurona fell ill and died. Long before she could explain her existence to her daughter. Haruto's heart was broken, and every day he took is little girl to the Higarashi Shrine and prayed in hopes Kurona could hear him.
Today is like any other for (Y/n) she will visit Higarashi Shrine and then go off to school. What happens, though when she finds a well calling her name. On the other side will she fine love or death. Friendship or hatred. Only time will tell.
