--ON HOLD--

Ever felt like you don't belong? Like being yourself isn't good enough?
Well, Hannah Anderson felt that everyday. Being a loner throughout middle school and 2 years through high school, Hannah had suffered a lot without sharing it with anyone, not even her own parents.
But a transfer to East High changes her entire lifestyle. She discovers that friendship isn't just give and take but a sense of feeling and happiness between people who love each for who they are. She meets people who she could depend on for anything. But are they really her well- wishers or are they just another passing phase in Hannah's life?

Cliché much? Thank my life for that.

"Do you have any idea how damn frustrating you are?" He trapped me between him and the wall. Stubbornly, I looked squarely at him, "You say this like it's news to you." He pursed his lips, clenched his jaw, and stared at me with darkened eyes before he closed the gap between us. I stared at him squarely as I felt his body heat radiated off me, my lips parted and my breathing picked up a notch. He placed one hand on the wall and brought his lips an inch away from mine as the other hand trailed up my arms, "I am going to make you feel my frustration." I ran my finger along his jaw and dared him with my eyes, "I'm Mila," I grinned, "You can try but we both know you won't succeed." He ran his thumb over my bottom lip, "Don't take my love for you as weakness," he stated and captured my lips with a fiery kiss. The road to love for Mila and Mitchell wasn't easy, but they finally reached their destination after many bumps along the way. Blissfully in love, they set off on another journey together but instead of the Highway, they hit the high seas. However, love and life aren't always smooth sail and they learn that when they embark on their adult life after college. Mitchell is trying to prove to his father he is worthy of handling the grand Clarke Empire one day while Mila is determined to make her mark in the medical world. Two strong personalities have finally accepted they love each other but both are set in their ways and stubborn with unbreakable egos. Can their love weather storms in their path or will things like jealousy, insecurity, and family stand in their way to happily ever after?

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

We are not the broken clichés you want us to be anymore. We have transcended beyond the "Good Girl ~ Bad Boy" boxes they tried to put us in. We are so far beyond all that now, that we are finally free of all those stereotypes. The story of us is not the usual cliche "good girl" meets "bad boy" that instantly fall in love. Oh, and after a few almost funny mishaps everything works out perfectly story. Or the other one where the brooding bad boy with a tragic past gets a second chance to become a happy, well-adjusted person again. All thanks to the love of an awesomely perfect popularity princess with a pure heart of gold. Who sees "something special" inside him, that no one else can see ...and sets him on a straight path. All that once in a lifetime fairy dust love, that only exists for perfect pretty popularity princesses in the happily ever after. No, this is the other kind of love story ...the messy kind, that messes peoples lives up irrevocably, for all time. The real kind of love story, that comes hand in hand with hopes and fears, and all that real hurt that burns at your heart. So while our Crazy love might not be as bright and shiny as that fairy dust love is ...our love will kick your loves ass any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Because our love knows the secret truth about itself. That it's not about how perfectly you fall in love, it's how you get the back up after love kicks your ass sideways, and you come back looking for more. Because our love is that Crazy kind of love, that is so forever you have to fight for it 'till the bitter end ...or die trying. The kind of love that comes with beer, pizza, football and a hell of a lot of laughs ...but mostly at everyone else's expense. ~First Place Chicklit - 2017 Blue Rose Award~ ~ Second Place for Teen Fiction - The Star Blazer Awards 2018~ ~ Honorable Mention for Best Plot - 2017 Royalty Awards ~

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.
