The team captures a Galran who seems to be linked to Zarkon's high command, they intend to get information from him on the Galra plans. Lance, of course, is the first to talk to the emo Galran, and though he manages to get the info he needs, he tricks the Galran, Keith, which leads to a very rocky start. As the team discovers more about the Red Lion and it's Paladin, they learn that Keith may be of more use to them than just a prisoner. Keith and Lance begin to discover things about themselves as well, causing them to question themselves in every way possible including their destinies

They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings.
