This is an entry for the PlanetOrPlastic writing contest. National geographic has teamed up with Wattpad to spread awareness about the issue of plastic in our oceans.
I am so happy to be a part of this contest and helping spread awareness of this serious issue. I hope my short story can help create an impact on everyone who reads it and I also hope this helps them stop the use of single use plastics in order to make our planet a better place.

Welcome to Undiscovered Gems Competition (UGC)! I love to help writers get a second hand view of their work. I feel that there is so much published work on Wattpad that deserves to be acknowledged but people a) Don't have the time b) Don't read new books with low reads or c) Can't find them. I've read so many undiscovered books here and I usually comment on how to improve and what is done well. I know that new stories may not be continued or people may not have confidence in themselves and sometimes I feel my comments go unnoticed. Therefore, I would have made a competition where undiscovered writers get a chance to be acknowledged through 'The Undiscovered Gems Competition' and get some feedback that they, themselves, are looking for.
