The stars have always been there for Mona Hemingway when she's needed them then most. Everything big in her life has happened under a night sky brimming with beautiful, breathtaking stars. They were there when her family was broken apart, and they were also there when it was smashed into shards of irreparable pieces. As long as Mona can see stars in the sky every night, however, the world is still worth living for.

But when her imprudent father moves them to a big city filled with too many buildings and factories to possibly see the sky, Mona panics. And that panic is enough to drive her to madness.

When Mona wakes up, the world seems completely new.

Because she doesn't remember anything.

The world is horrible, filled with grief and pain. But it's also beautiful, little bits of wonderful hidden in the most unexpected places. There's a boy named Taurus, and he's more different and similar to Mona than anyone she's ever known.
