Sonoko is just your average middle school kid. She's pretty okay at school, kind of sucky at sports, but isn't that bad. She has a stable family with two other siblings that are like her friends. When Sonoko meets an eccentric old woman at a new school that she is transfered to, she gets introduced to a magical and perfect utopia. Inside this amazing place, Sonoko finds out that she had incredible power, and friends and teachers that really love and support her. But hidden underneath all these layers of happiness lies a cruel dictator playing with her subjects like dolls, and a world of three corrupt continents. As Sonoko is plunged into this world, she discovers the half concealed in darkness, and learns that there is no such thing as a perfect world. She and her friends run away, but the world remains corrupt despite their many efforts to save it. Will Sonoko's world ever become free? And will she ever have a home to return to?
