No one saw it coming. No one wanted it either. But as soon as the word got out, everyone was in panic. Some brave, some not. Many people has this scenario as their worst nightmare, but for many again, the worst was yet to come.
Basch (Switzerland) and his sister Erika (Liechtenstein) had much yet to come. As the rulers of their own separate countries, this is the first time they've been separated since Erika was born. As they each try to protect their countries from the horrible event at the horizon, they can only think of each other. This is a problem, until that fateful day.
One day, Basch receives a strange message under another rulers name, mentioning a Lighthouse on the coast of the United States. The letter says that the Lighthouse strangely has not received the effects of this catastrophe, and that when arriving there, it will be safe to wait out the apocalypse. Can Basch contact his sister in time? Can Basch trust his sister anymore? And most importantly... will they make it to the Lighthouse in time?

America was never an honest man- nor an honest country. He trusted himself much to highly, and eventually it seems to bite him right where it hurts- his own ego. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He glanced at the window- he felt it was quite obvious he was fake sleeping, yet the ones outside didn't seem to realize. He'd tucked the key away- damn, was he forgetting anything? No, they were only coming to get him. He heard his window break and the bullets start to cut through him- it hurt, sure but he could deal with it. The gun he kept under his pillow was raised- a few bangs and one of them dropped, but not the others. One ran forward and he felt a needle in his arms- by then, it was too late. She drove slowly through the canyon walls into the place she called home. It seemed quiet, but she guessed it was just the early morning- nobody here was really a morning person. She drove into the commons slowly, so that people on their horses could dodge her car- well, there was nobody in the commons. She jumped out of her car. Something was wrong. The entire town was like a ghost had overcome it. "What?" the tidal wave came crashing down when she saw the bullets in the far wall, "No!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rated Mature for themes of excessive violence, self-harm, torture, and kidnapping. The Storm [DISCONTINUED]

14 parts Complete Mature

{STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.
