Helena Southwick is your classic band geek in high school, but with a traumatic and dark past. Usually found writing songs or strumming a few tunes. Helena stays to herself. When senior year starts she dreams of nothing but to leave town with her bass guitar in hand and the rest of her band behind her.

Patrick Kingston is the new boy. Forced to move because his dad got a new job, he joins the high school as a new student. Being assigned to a all freshmen class as a senior is awkward to say the least. Thankfully a teacher made him work with Helena so he wouldn't feel weird. This girl is quiet, mysterious, and... beautiful?
