It uses plot/elements from the show up to Season 3, Episode 4 (The Midnight Club) but is centered on the parents' character development and does not follow the show entirely (HINT THERE IS NOTHING SUPERNATURAL). Watching the first two seasons of Riverdale would be helpful but NOT NECESSARY to understand this story. This story is told from alternating points of view between the six cover characters.
