If you found out that you had to sacrifice yourself for the lives of a blood-thirsty clan, would you do it? What if you were a human who ate, slept, and breathed the art of dance, and one day...you met a guy who shared the same passion, but he just didn't seem "normal." Would you be afraid? What if you found out that the guy was a creature that you've only experienced through books and movies? And...what if you were the human who ended up falling for him? What if you found out that half of the things in your life were complete lies and that you were tied to a curse that started centuries ago? *** Hazel Amor is an aspiring dancer slated to attend Damsel Dance Academy, a prestigious school that she's always wanted to be a part of. On her first day, she meets Maeve Adelman, a second-year student who informs of Madam Gia (the most intense but best dance teacher of the school). Maeve warns Hazel of the equally intense--if not more--favorite student of Madam, Mitrik Everit. He's tall and pale, with dark eyes and dark hair to match. His serious and mysterious demeanor make the girls swoon over him, but they're too afraid to approach him. Why? There's something not right about Mitrik, which is something that Hazel instantly senses on the first day of class. Well, I think it might be very obvious what Mitrik is, but will Hazel find out about that part of his life before it's too late? BOOK ONE: Dancing with Vampires BOOK TWO: The Ash Clan
