Your name, is Alice, and You, are a hybrid.. Specifically a Phoenix, Fox, Wolf, hybrid.. You look like a fox, but your fur is a strange color of grey, and you have the eyes of a wolf, and a tail of a wolf.. Which means you have trouble not getting it stepped on.
You only moved to LA recently.. Because your last school didn't allow Hybrids, so when they figured out you were hybrid, they kicked you out.. Not that hybrids are hunted or anything.. It's just, most humans don't like them.. (Like back then when white people didn't like African Americans, except it with Hybrids and humans.)
Since you got kicked out of your old school, you have to go to this one.. Hybrid High..
You may have had to leave your best friend/crush behind, who can't function without you, but this was for a fresh start.
After you settle in, you only make two friends. You and your new friends have fun together.. Until you get a phone call from your best friend Smitty...

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
