A SCI-FI THRILLER WITH A ROMANTIC TWIST. Day White can't stand her boyfriend or her life. Desperate for something to change, she goes to Janus, a controversial company that offers personality implants. There she selects the most kick-ass, confident personality on the market. But when something goes wrong, anxious staff abort the implant and Day is ushered out a back door and told never to return. Forty-eight hours later, Day's memory is sporadically malfunctioning, and she's left injured during a shopping mall bomb explosion. Police take an interest in her and question her movements in the days prior to the bomb. Then her boyfriend arrives and he's mad as hell and behaving very oddly. When they're alone he reveals she's blown her cover, and soon the people she was hiding from will be coming to get her. Her real name isn't Day White. The personality implant didn't work because she already has an implant that's been protecting her. Now Day must choose: Trust her lying, phoney boyfriend and leave, or let the people who she was hiding from catch up with her. PLEASE NOTE: Mild swearing is included in the text.
