Moreover what changed would she bring to the epic?

Advika, 25, recently retired from her perilous career as a spy for the Indian government. She's faced trauma that most couldn't bear in a lifetime. Now, all she craves is the one thing her life lacked-normalcy. A quiet, boring life free from the shadows of her past. But she'd never admit it, even to herself. To desire simplicity feels like weakness. Yet, deep down, that's all she wants-something real, something safe. Karna, born a suta but kshatriya by heart, is a man who defied everything society forced upon him. Humiliated, cursed, and denied his rightful place, all he ever longed for was to learn weaponry-archery, his true calling. Though denied by every royal and guru, he carved his own path, mastering the art despite them all. Now, he seeks the respect and glory he's been denied, determined to claim his place in Hastinapur, the very kingdom that rejected him. He's no longer just a man-he's an enigma, a force of sheer will. But what happens when Karna, through mysterious forces, arrives in Advika's house? In a clash of instinct and fear, she attacks first, questions later. Their worlds, separated by centuries and desires, suddenly collide. One seeking peace, the other seeking glory. Both wanting the impossible. Advika wanted a simple life after the storms of her past. But maybe it was too much to ask. Karna wanted respect and honor in the land that spurned him. But maybe that, too, was too much to ask. Though their lives are worlds apart, something powerful connects them, pulling them into a moment neither can explain. Two souls, bound by destiny, stand before each other in an era foreign to them both. And as they each seek what they desire most, one truth becomes clear-when the universe conspires to grant your deepest wishes, there's always a price. The question is: at what cost?

"We shouldn't play with fire, Rooh," He spoke near my ears, pecking my jawline. I was breathing erratically unable to encompass my perturbation. "What if I want to play with it?" I said, my voice sensual, subduing my thudding heart. His hand went to my waist, and he squeezed it, kneading it. "It will burn you, Rooh. You don't know the vehemence of the burning blaze. It will eradicate your existence," His voice was dark and titillating, making me shudder at the intenseness. "What if I want it to deplete me? What if I want to get burned in this vehemence of burning blaze?" I contested. "Think before you articulate anything, Rooh. I am not a manageable man." "I don't like manageable things, Dev." "Once you are mine, I will never allow you to go. You will be mine in every fucking birth," He spoke out possessively. "I want to be yours in my every birth, Prince Dev Pratap Singh." ******************************************** Destiny - predetermined state or end. Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for. It is a thing to be achieved. Ruhanika Sharma is a simple girl with a filmmaking degree who loves history and lives in a fantasy world. Don't worry if you're not. I've added a short description of the original Mahabharat plot in the book for those. This story will follow the original mahabharat storyline but in a vastly different way with a lot of twists and events in my style. 😉 I'm aware Mahabharat holds religious sentiments for some and I do not INTEND to offend anyone. This is for entertainment purpose only. So don't get serious or offended please. And I apologise in advance if you feel hurt by any content of the book.

Amba: A Reincarnation of lust for Love of Bhism by Amropali

We are going to see this story from the perspective of Kashi Princess Amba who longed to marry King Shantanu and Ganga Putra Bhism but was brutally rejected by him for several times. What will happen if a 21st century girl, student of Psychology, suddenly discovered herself reincarnated as Princess Amba? What was she had to find herself amidst the political turmoil of India when the fate of a girl was already decided by her patiarchial society long before her birth? Why she went after Bhism after being rejected repeatedly? Would her own 21st century mindset be helpful for her or put prove to be an obstacle in her road? The pressing question was could she change the well known destiny of Princess Amba or not? This is my third story on Mahabharata series. I like this fiesty warrior princess for her struggle through her two different births to avenge her insult. This story is very close to my heart. The time set of this fictional story was both ancient age of India at the time of Mahabharata and also 21st century. This is my original unpublished fan- fiction type story. I did not want hurt anyone's feelings. I just try to unravel the inner psychology of Kashi state's beautiful Princess Amba after rejection by Bhism and her simultaneous transformation to Sikhandini and Sikhandi. My story is loosely based on Mahabharata but in most part of my imagination. All the pictures are taken from the public domains. Images courtesy: Google Chrome and Pinterest.
