Charlotte sat there unmoving, tears falling down her cheeks. She could not do anything as she watched her sisters casket go down into the ground. She did not look to her older brothers for comfort, she did not look to her parents. She just sat there and sadly watched her sister and bestfriend, her twin, as she got burried in the ground. Her heart felt like there was an empty void in it, a missing-or rather-a dead piece. The sky opened up ontop of them, though non of them cared, they welcomed the rain and what it brought. For Charlotte, it meant new life. A life without her twin. Charlotte's never done anything without her sister before, but now she's going to have to. ~~ Charlotte grew up with her twin being her best friend, the one who helped her through the toughest times in her life. They had a connection that astounded people.The pain of losing someone so close, of someone who was literally like your other half, is one that no one should have to experience. But Charlotte did. Now, after her twin's death, Charlotte will not only have to live life without her twin, but learn to get close to people again. With struggles of self worth and depression, Charlotte has a hard time accepting her life as it now is. She even gains an unlikely friend but is hesitant to even let him in her life. Will this person and her family help Charlotte cope with her life as it is now? Who will save her from herself?

This is my first attempt at writing a longer story. Here are few things about this novelette: - A novelette stands between a short story and a novella (7, 500- 17,500 words). - This story is not edited, so expect mistakes. - The story has explicit and mature contents. - As part of my "trademark," the story deals with love and loss. Expect drama! - The story is written in a nonlinear way. - I almost forgot; this is a lesbian story. If in any way you find it disgusting, you're free to bounce, yo! Will Asa and the boy she loves with all her heart, stay together? This story contains topics such as self-harm, eating disorders, abusive parents, sexual assault. If you don't feel comfortable with these topics, do not read this AND THERE'S NO SMUT! So sorry if you don't enjoy this book or the writing of this story, i started this in 2023 april i wanted to make something specific with mental health and things might not make sense in what i wrote but i still hope you do enjoy it!!

I'm recently writing a book and to start out, I'm trying out my reach through a favorite app of mine. The title will be the same but I just want to get some reach. This is a book I've composed over the course of me going through my feelings, my grueling healing process and the depressive emotions I've went through before I started healing. This is also going to be a day by day process, (I hope) and it's to capture my style and how it progressed. I'm happy to be able to share it with all of you!

This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. Life is not easy, nor is it simple. There are always obstacles you need to get over and things preventing you from being happy. Charlotte is a 17 year old girl who understands that. She is struggling to get over the obstacles and doesn't know if she'll make it. ..... Warning: This story contains description of self-harm in almost every chapter. I didn't include a warning at the beginning of every chapter because this whole story is about mental health so anything may cause triggers.
