This is a story that I'm writing for my high school English class, and I feel like it's good enough to be shared here. It's an allegory project about the Mexican/American wall that Trump wants to build.

For hundreds of years the battle between Humans, Werewolves, and Vampires raged on around the world. Humans had been segregated, separated from the other groups and left terrified of the creatures that had been hunting the outer walls. After many years of battling the Humans had managed to make a few allies in some of the Werewolves. These wolves lived amongst the humans keeping them safe and warm Now the world needed a break. That's why the activists had become to emerge. It was time for a change. They built the Pyramid high school they would bring creatures from all three areas together to try and make peace. Children would be chosen by the hidden society from every species to attend the school without a say in hopes that over time the groups would want to end the battle that raged on between them. The war had become wide spread and any peaceful advocates had been killed off by the armies. the world had nearly been turned to rubble on the outside however the hidden society had made a large place for the school walled off from the rest of the world and protected from the war raging beyond its gates. The children would be separated on opposing sides of the property organized by their species. They will attend classes together however in the centre of the property at the main hall.

BOOK 2 After chaos destroyed, America fell into pandemonium and there was no communication with the U.S. After a pandemic crisis on the East coast, most civilization was abandoned near the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.

When I was 10 and my sister was 13 mom and dad had separated, my father took me and my sister to Italy where my dad was from because his older brother, my uncle had passed so my father had to take over the family business. 2years later Abigail moved in with my mom in New Orleans while I stayed with my father because I was angry at my mother for leaving us and mad at her for not visiting me...or telling me why she had left. My mother is a wolf and my father was a wolf until there were hunters that attacked us my father thought the only way to protect my mother and sister was if he became a vampire So when they found out my mother was pregnant with me they were confused my father thought my mother was having an affair since vampires can't procreate so they went to a witch and she told my parents that I am my father's child. The witch had told them that I am a wolf but with vampire blood in my system so if I die I'll become a hybrid.

Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. When Mom said those five words, I felt like my world was ending, and that my life was over. "You're going to high school." Now, I know what you're thinking. What's so bad about high school? 20,000 years ago the vampire race was born in to the world, causing wars between the human races and the vampire races this war started with the first king of the vampires who claimed that the human race was a disgrace and should be eliminated to make way for new race, a stronger more powerful race of vampires, humans were weak but found the courage to stand up and fight, with so many lost they are still fighting for dominance and freedom some just cant take it so they flee and take the easy way out, and some are just to curious for their own good and turn into the monsters they were trying to rid, for 20,000 years the war has been going on and new generations of human and vampires surfaced but 500 years ago there was a prophecy that was said that a human girl and a vampire boy will end the long years of battle and unite the two races into one but the vampires doesn't want it to happen so they fought even harder to prevent this prophecy and so the world was now a battlefield for lost souls and for those human who survived are now hidden in safety and forming an army to strike back they now call themselves vampire hunters, and among them is the 18 year old girl who will fulfill the prophecy and change the world.
