Emma Sparks was star of the volleyball team back at her old school. No, high school wasn't torture for her, because she was content being recognized on the court but not in the hallways. She had a close band of friends, no boy friend, and she was a wallflower. But she was happy.
Now here she was, more excited than she had ever been for any summer. She had finally graduated junior year, and her summer would be the best yet. Her group of friends had planned a trip to Hawaii, as a whole of them. She would hang out with her friends and be in Hawaii. Her spirits crashed when she found out she would have the spend the summer in Miami. And now, she couldn't be less excited.
But Emma doesn't know this summer would probably be just as fun as it would be, just because of one boy sitting in the plane next to her.
