We've seen it happen before, animals going extinct. But that's what humans do, we take control of anything. Dolphins in a tank, wolves in a sanctuary, Lions in a cage. We all love watching these amazing creatures, when they're caged. We can never let a species have more control over us. Shark INFESTED waters, that's a wonderful example. The sharks were there first, but now we claim it's OURS. And now that's why they're all gone. And soon, we will be too.

The rewrite for this book is out. It features way better writing than this one, trust me. 2024: The American military suspects World War III due to missile attacks from Russia all across Australia, Europe, and Canada. In an effort to aid the American military, scientists at Area-51 created animals with human characteristics, incredible speed, strength, agility, ect. They even have sentience. The humans dubbed these creatures 'Anthros'. No human could beat one in hand-to-hand combat. Not even the best person at close quarters combat. 2025: Two things would change the fate of the world as we know it. Those being that missile attacks were becoming more and more frequent. And the anthros were starting to rebel. Thus, starting the war. The anthros turned on their own squads, wiping almost all military members out. The anthros formed a military, with one goal. Extinguish humanity and take over earth. The last remaining humans in the military are fighting against anthros for their survival. Earth is practically hell at this point if you live on it. The human military in other continents has either been taken out by anthros, or the Russians. The Human Canadian Military moves down to the United States in an attempt to aid them, and to end this war once and for all. But one human soldier stands out from the rest after taking an experimental item... After this soldier is betrayed and lost, with no other option, joins the anthro military in an attempt to get his hands on the person who betrayed him. He'll do anything and kill anyone in his way to get to them and end this war. Even his own species. This soldier's name is Falcon. He suspects that it won't be much longer before he'll be betrayed again. But hey, that's just a theory. This book contains excessive swearing, detailed death/injury, and yeah that's pretty much it. (Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
