Ever since her parents divorced, 13 year-old Clarissa feels like she has no choice over her life. Living in a life full of heartache and sadness, she starts to feel like she must give in to the horrid world around her; one filled with temptations and pressure. Clarissa finds herself wanting a saviour, a slice of hope. And although she knows that her mother has found one that is good and merciful, she doesn't want to trust Him. Who is that good and doesn't ask for anything in return? It might seem like all hope is lost for Clarissa, but she can still find hope, love and a real home if only she is willing to accept it. It's up to her: Will she give in to the world around her and accept that that's her home and her place? Or will she look beyond what this place has to offer and learn to trust in a being that she doesn't even see and hope that her home is where He is?
