He wasn't gonna stop the man like his friends wanted to. He was convinced to start a REBELION against Tord with Edd and Matt. But he truly didn't know who's side to take, Cuz' deep down. Ok so I gave up on the description for this story but it's at least something- Tord comes back from the Army to see his "old friends" again.
