Mazy is referred to as a mutt, you see in her little kingdom the streets are crawling with humans and Demi's alike. Unfortunately those of mix blood don't really belong anywhere they simply are. But her troubles aren't only out in the world but within her home as well. Not only did her father die before she was born but her mother is now missing. Now she's stuck raising her 'step' siblings as their lust filled mom does what makes her happy. But things are looking up as the announcement of a party at the Castle is announced and everyone is welcome. All she has to do is promise to make her siblings look good, sounds like a good deal right? One night of being someone else is worth it and she can sneak off for a few moments if freedom before going back to her normal life, at least that what she thought.
"You're not even human" the prince said as he leaned against the wall.
"And I'm not even Demi" I dusted off my knees "maybe a quarter-e" this won me a laugh and I could feel my cheeks starting to heat up.
(Keep in mind that although there won't be any steamy things written by yours truly in this story there will probably be the mention of the bumps in the bedrooms nexts door so if you are an innocent little one avert ye eyes.
My grammar isn't the best but I need to get back into writing so this is just a random spin on Cinderella I hope you enjoy)

I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" She laughed once again And i knew that,that was not my mother's voice. My heart broke when I realised my dad didn't actually love my mother. He was a cheater and after this i lost all respect for him. I stood outside the door for a good 10 minutes debating whether I should storm In there or just keep quiet about the whole thing. The laughing and talking went on and I decided it would be best if I walked away. Tears threatened to fall as I went to my bedroom. I actually looked up to my father. He was my superman. He got himself a good job,a beautiful wife,and started a beautiful family...only to find out it was all a lie. Is his wife even his wife? Are we even his children? He was beating the pulp out of another guy and one more man was on the ground, he was not moving. I gasped. 'Is he dead?' Or he can be unconscious, yeah 'el' he is just unconscious not dead. Duh! Who would kill a guy? As I was proceeding with my thoughts, that hoodie guy turned his face towards me. My heart had a mini heart attack. I turned my heels to the opposite direction and started to run. 'Run Ella, run for your life' was what my mind was screaming to me. I took turns without thinking, that guy was now following me and guess what? I took a wrong turn and which ended up being a dead end ' You are so dead' I thought. So, I started to think what I said last time to the people I love. 'Good night mom, love you.' to my mom, 'Stop annoying me! I'm going to bed.' to dad which also mean I love you, 'See you later Lu, love you!' to Luana. Okay my good bye says I love them all. Now I can die in peace. Granddad I'll meet you soon in the heaven, if you are there. I was still in my deep thoughts until I saw his silhouette. As, he get closer, my heart begin to race faster. "Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl.
