Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. Used to be called, "Mermaid Wish." (Magic in this world works differently than in my series, 'Tèarmann Chronicles')Concluida

So we ran and ran until we were backed right into a corner. The future has now become the present, and we can no longer run. So how does humanity respond, when it's very existence is threatened? Does it respond with words? With ideas and theories? But what if that doesn't work? Does it respond by blade? How will humanity take on its biggest enemy yet... itself.Concluida
The Silence -Percy Jackson Fanfiction-
Shall be moved, and then deleted. More about dat stuff in the last chapter and at the end of my bio. :D The Silence -Percy Jackson Fanfiction- The Seas were supposed to be place of tranquility and peace. With the currents and the motions, it was hard for someone to feel otherwise. The people of the sea, more commonly known as Mer-People, were a peaceful clan. King Poseidon was a kind man, ruling over all with his heir and son, Perseus. He kept order. He kept peace. That was until a single Mer-Person went astray. She dreamed too big. She was too ambitious. She had no mercy. She created a new kind of Mer-People. A new race. A contorted, twisted species. An experimental horror. A mistake. This species should have never been created. They were death, destruction and remorse. They were The Silence. It was up to Prince Perseus to destroy them. Word count: 14,218 (Cover made by Percy_BlackAdder, thanks biatch! Fruv ya! Really, though, I love the cover.) (There will be many mentions of different types of sea creatures, and I want you to know these are all real. Feel free to look them up. Though I will be altering their names slightly in some cases, but I will give you the actual title of the fish at the ending of the paragraph. You are ready, my children.) (THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE. I KNOW ALMOST NO ONE WILL LIKE WHAT I'M DOING BUT JUST SHUSH. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. MY SHIPPER HEART BETRAYED ME. I NEEDED TO FILL A BIT OF SPACE, AS WELL. CHILL. CALM THE FUCK DOWN.)
