His piercing blue eyes met my own and it seemed as if the entire world stopped.
It was just him and I in this undisturbed moment, gazing at each other with longing. The word, "monster," registered in my brain and I remembered why I’d started running in the first place. I’d accused him of murder, though, right now, being in his arms, I was skeptical of my own accusation. Despite the power I knew he withheld, the security I felt in his arms was irrefutable.
His gentle touch was holding me captive and I couldn’t find it in myself to pull away. Instead, the guilt in his eyes was luring me in.
Closer to him, and closer to his oh, so inviting lips.
Side Note: Many of you may, as you begin reading this story, find similarities and such between this book and The Vampire Diaries & The Twilight Saga. I've somewhat planned this book out and have long since realized that in some situations, you may believe I have ripped off ideas from either of the two named series'. However, I assure you that my intentions are not to "steal" ideas or plots from any of the said TV shows and movies. I may say that these two mentioned media outlets have been inspirations in my writing. But once this entire series is finished, you will see that I have no intent to copy either of the two series', thank you.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
