"The stars are not wanted now / put out every one / Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun / Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood / For nothing now can ever come to any good." -Stop All The Clocks, W.H. Auden. *** This is the third and final story in the Glade Trilogy (You will definitely have to have read both Skyrider and Lionheart to start this one). Sorel and Silly have both been betrayed by Ella Farqueson, the mastermind behind the Guild and their army of androids the Guild had used to try and take out the safe haven for the people with powers. The safe-haven used to be lead (and named for) by the infamous Summer Glade. But in an android attack on the school, she was kidnapped from her office, and traitors in the midst of the students of the SummerGlade Institute revealed themselves. Sorel is faced with trials along the way to rescue Summer Glade with her friends, one of those trials being Silly; refusing to disclose the whereabouts of Summer Glade to anyone but the council. However, the corrupt council of elders who run SummerGlade in the leaders absence are trying to take control over the haven, and the students are about ready to revolt -right along with Silly. Things seem to be at a breaking point after the major android attack, and it seems that nothing can get any worse. The day is still young.
