Hailey Stevens was happy. She had a brother who protected her. A boyfriend who almost loved her. Parents who trusted her. Then, something was taken from her. And now? She's only surviving. William Bennett had a plan. But he had to grow up too young. Now? He's lost. Who knew a high school party and a missing phone would be all it takes to bring them together? Hailey was trapped. Until Will became her escape. IMPORTANT: this book is on hold until further notice. I have been very sick and out of school for a very long time and have a lot of important work to catch up on, plus my current schoolwork, so I do not have a lot of time to dedicate to this book. In addition to this, we haven't figured out what is going on, so I am still seeing doctors and working on getting healthy again. I also have had trouble finding motivation to write, and I'm not sure I like where I was initially going with this book - it doesn't reflect my writing and ideas the way I wanted it to. I am also working on another project at the moment. At some point I may come back and edit what I've written, or just continue if I find the motivation to do so, but for now, this book will remain on hold.

An unsettling smile comes across his face, "The best trick is the truth.
