Ember is a normal teenager, a normal teenager with a slightly abnormal name. She's happy with her normal life, but everything changes when Raiden transfers to Ember's school. Raiden seems to be just another smart and good-looking guy, but why does he keeps his distance from everyone, even though he is welcomed with open arms? Is Raiden really the silent but sweet stranger or is there more to him then he wants everyone to believe? When Ember decides she wants to find out more about this handsome stranger, her life takes a sharp turn down the road of danger and the unknown, and she finds herself involved in situations she only dreamt about before. But how thick is the line between dream and nightmare really?

Addison Ember Smith had always been the quiet ember in her family's fire-steady, warm, but never the one to spark attention. That changed the moment they moved to the sleepy town of Silverpine Hollow. The air smelled like pine and possibility, and the new school loomed like a castle of unknowns. On her very first day, as she stepped through the gates clutching her sketchbook like a shield, she felt the weight of unfamiliar eyes-except one gaze didn't feel unfamiliar at all. It was steady, curious, and strangely grounding. Alpha Kayden Nathan Wolf Jr., the school's quiet storm, was the first to truly look at her-not just glance but see. He didn't speak right away. Just a nod, a flicker of recognition, like he'd been waiting for her. Rumors swirled around him like autumn leaves-about his lineage, his strength, his silence-but none of that mattered in that moment. What mattered was the way he paused, as if her arrival shifted something in him. Addison didn't know it yet, but that look would be the beginning of everything: of tangled destinies, moonlit secrets, and a bond that felt older than time.
