her voice was raspy, "blaze... help." a single tear dropped from my eye. I screamed into the phone, calling her name over a hundred times. all there was was the sound of flames burning the inside of my house. I could hear all of the hallway and bedrooms burn to ashes. everything was burning, burning, burning and down, straight to the ground. I screamed again, ripping from the crowd.
my feet plundered against the cement, coming closer to the burning home. I stared blankly at the charring wood, ashes fell gently to the ground, leaving bright orange specs all over the ground. smoke rose dangerously close to the neighboring houses, escaping from every corner. cop cars and fire trucks surrounded my house, tumbling out to frap the big hose. I couldn't leave the scene, I just watched every corner melt. I watched every firefighter enter the house of embers. I watched some not come out.
