Jack is a merman and lives in an underwater kingdom with his mother and father who are King and Queen of the Northern Sea. Jack has never been up to the surface of the sea knowing humans are cruel creatures and might capture him. One day, after almost getting captured by humans, a storm comes and he gets stranded on land. A human named Mark finds him and helps him get back to the sea. Something sparks in Jack knowing that humans are cruel but....Mark was different. Has Jack been told the whole truth about humans?
